2021 marks the 40th anniversary of this rite of fall in one of Kentucky’s most beautiful and historic towns, Bardstown, KY.

The Bardstown Arts & Craft Festival is a juried fair with more than 250 artists’ booths. The two-day event is free and open to the public. The Fair is held in Bardstown’s historic district filled with tree-lined streets and beautiful lawns. The following areas will encompass this year’s fair – West Flaget Avenue, North Fourth Street, North Fifth Street, Xavier Drive, Spalding Hall Lawn, City Hall Lawn, City Hall Parking Lot and Parks & Rec Parking Lot. With over 45,000 people in attendance last year, the Bardstown Arts & Craft Festival is one of the area’s favorite events year-after-year.

In addition to arts and crafts, patrons of the fair can enjoy food, drink and entertainment. Other attractions include a children’s area, demonstrations by local artists, and visitor information about our amazing small town.

The annual Bardstown Arts & Craft Festival is a major fundraiser for the Bardstown Main Street Program. All proceeds are returned to our downtown community through family-friendly events, beautification projects, historic preservation efforts, and supporting small business. The Bardstown Main Street Program works hard as an organization to continue to make downtown Bardstown a historically modern place to live, work and play.

All entries must be properly completed online – Applications will be available online March 2

Past Vendors:

Please note, we will do our best to accommodate your needs. However, the Bardstown Arts & Craft Festival does not guarantee previous booth space to any vendor/exhibitor. Occasional changes have to be made due to many circumstances, but we promise we have your best interests at heart.

What to Expect:

Applicants will be juried monthly, starting in March. Incomplete applications will not be juried. After jury selection, you will be notified via email 6-8 weeks after application is received regarding the status of your application. Upon receiving an accepted status, the email will contain a link for payment due with specific due dates. If you do not get accepted you will receive a denial email notification. Please don’t be discouraged, and please apply again the next year! We have specific criteria including ensuring a diverse variety of items, basically having too many of one type of item may be the reason for denial.

If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to contact us at  with a subject line: Arts & Crafts.
