Become a Vendor at the 2020 Bardstown Arts, Crafts & Antiques Fair

2020 marks the 40th anniversary of this rite of fall in one of Kentucky’s most beautiful and historic towns, Bardstown, KY.

The Bardstown Arts, Crafts & Antiques Fair is a juried fair with more than 200 artists’ booths. The two-day event is free and open to the public. The Fair is held in Bardstown’s historic district filled with tree-lined streets and beautiful lawns. The following areas will encompass this year’s fair – West Flaget Avenue, North Fourth Street, North Fifth Street, Xavier Drive, Spalding Hall Lawn, City Hall Lawn, City Hall Parking Lot and Parks & Rec Parking Lot. With over 45,000 people in attendance last year, the Bardstown Arts, Crafts & Antiques Fair is one of the area’s favorite events year-after-year.

I addition to art, crafts and antiques, patrons of the fair can enjoy food, drink and entertainment. Other attractions include a children’s area, demonstrations by local artists, and visitor information about our amazing small town.

The annual Bardstown Arts, Crafts & Antiques Fair is a major fundraiser for the Bardstown Main Street Program. All proceeds are returned to our downtown community through family-friendly events, beautification projects, historic preservation efforts, and supporting small business. The Bardstown Main Street Program works hard as an organization to continue to make downtown Bardstown a historically modern place to live, work and play.

All entries must be properly completed online – Applications will be available online for 2020- check back soon.
Past vendors requesting previous booth space please note, we will do our best to accommodate your needs. However, the Bardstown Arts, Crafts & Antiques Fair does not guarantee previous booth space to any vendor/exhibitor. Occasional changes have to be made due to many circumstances, but we promise we have your best interests at heart.

What to expect after submitting your application for the upcoming Bardstown Arts and Crafts Fair

Applicants will be juried monthly, starting in March, 2020. Incomplete applications will not be juried. After jury selection, you will be notified via email on or before August 20th, 2020 regarding the status of your application. Upon receiving an accepted status the email will contain a link for payment due no later than 5 days after receiving the email notification. If you do not get accepted you will receive a denial email notification. Please don’t be discouraged, and please apply again the next year! We have specific criteria including insuring a diverse variety of items, basically having too many of one type of item may be the reason for denial.

Advertising on the map

Free – As a vendor/exhibitor your business name or your name will appear on the interactive map starting in July with a short description of your items, information is retrieved from the application. (see example)
If you are wanting your booth to stand out you may choose the following:
$50.00 – Link to your website and a picture of your choice (see example)
$100.00 – Link to your website, a picture of your choice, and a special icon on the map

This year, one $300.00 cash prize will be awarded to the artist judged “Best in Show’. Two $100.00 cash prizes will be awarded for Honorable Mention.

Best in Show award winner is exempt from the jury process for the following year.
